Our speaker for this event will be architect Rosa Coy.

Rosa graduated from Deakin University in 1991 with a BA in Architecture, having completed some of her studies at California Polytechnic State University.

Upon graduation, Rosa moved to Paris, France, working for five years for leading international architects Santiago Calatrava and Renzo Piano. During this period, she met future husband and business partner George Yiontis and the couple returned to Melbourne in 1994 to launch their architecture practice Coy & Yiontis.

Rosa's work both in France and Australia has been well published and award winning. It includes resiential, retail, commercial and institutional projects. At this CWC, Rosa will talk about her career and practice to date and the challenges & delights of running a creative architecture business in the competitive Melbourne market with her partner (whilst raising four children aged 5-14 years!).
