SPEAKERS

Amanda Cunningham
Amanda Cunningham is the Social Media Specialist for Intrepid Travel. Amanda has 4 years of social media work under her belt and a background in PR and Customer Experience. Her expertise falls into community management and getting creative with content. When she isn’t posting travel snaps to Intrepid’s Instagram she is living a waste free life, cooking vegan food and relentlessly tagging her family in cat memes.

Kate Ware
Kate Ware is a social media and brand strategist. She works with corporates, SME’s and solopreneurs who dream of having the most enviable and attention-grabbing brands on the internet.

Kate has over 10 years experience spanning agency and in-house as part of the social media teams for Cadbury, Kmart Australia, the 2016 Australian Census, Peroni, Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese, RMIT University and Entura. These digital communities combined total more than 17 million social media users across Australia and the world.

Rough structure before opening it up to the audience:

  • What social channel is right for you (inactive accounts can still link to active ones for brand awareness)

  • Planning content/scheduling (Later & in-app)

  • Responding to negativity

  • No budget/Influencer chat

  • Can you repeat content?

  • Posts vs. Stories

  • Instagram Quick Wins (consistent style, consistent posting, use less words etc)

Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided.
