Join us for an evening of wine and book discussion at the end of the week on Friday May 3rd at 6pm, with delicious cheese from one of Melbourne’s finest food purveyors, Spring Street Grocer.

We’ll be discussing writing, creative hobbies, and favourite children’s books. Feel free to bring yours along!

SPEAKERS:
Our first speaker is CWC member Jo Watson is a writer, painter, acrobat, broad-sword fighting enthusiast, all-round creative person and soon to be published author of Home Decorating, Survival and other Important Life Lessons from Larry Leadbeater.

Our second speaker is Susie Gibson, Former Managing Editor, Penguin Random House Australia. Susie has been part of the book publishing industry for over thirty years, with twenty-two of those being in Australia; she started VERY young. Her love of reading led to her joining ‘the pointy end’ of the business of making books and she feels privileged to have had that opportunity. She is looking forward to sharing a love of reading, writing and publishing with everyone attending this event.
