A celebration of human resilience and creative tenacity. So far in 2020 we have faced challenging times but from turmoil and confusion comes hope and a shift in the way we work and engage within our creative community. There is much to be grateful for and learning through sharing our personal stories of courage and confidence is one way we can continue to develop as women.
Join us with a wine (or non alcoholic beverage of your choice!) and hear three diverse and influential Australian women talk about their journeys as business owners and women in creative leadership.
Moderator: Amber Bonney - founder of The Edison Agency and President of Creative Women's Circle
Speakers:
Carol Mackay - Co-Founder of the Design Business Council
Carol helps Australian creatives manage their business better - more effectively, more efficiently and more sustainably - so they can spend more time designing. After 30+ years running a graphic design firm, Carol pivoted from client-focused projects to consulting to the design industry. Now with the Design Business Council she uses her experience, and research, to help designers build robust, sustainable businesses, and help businesses integrate and profit from design.
