Recordings of a couple of recent CWC events are up on the website as of today for Members to listen to. Hear artist/jeweller Abby Seymour as well as Designer/Typographer Nicole Arnett Phillips talk on their career paths, influences, trials and successes as creative business women.

If you missed any of our events from the second half of last year, here's some good news: three new event recordings are online today for CWC Members to access. New event recording now online: Kitiya Palaskas

Earlier this year, craft-based designer Kitiya Palaskas invited us into her colourful world and shared her fascinating career story to our audience in Melbourne. The recording of that event is available in audio form over today at the podcasts page!

Hear how this self-described 'crazy craft lady' worked her way through a number of roles at companies such as Etsy and Family Circle, to build her own following and reputation as a highly-creative solo business lady (but not without a few bumps along the way). What a weekend! Conversations with Creative Women: Volume Two was officially launched, and good fun was had by all.

The last of our speaker events for 2013 has been almost a year in planning, and we can finally announce it. It features a guest speaker you have probably heard quite a bit about this year on the creative business grapevine: Clare Bowditch!

Clare is a multi-passionate creative woman: award-winning musician, writer, creative-business coach, social commentator and actor. She has performed in front of hundreds of thousands of people over her career and is a passionate supporter of artists and creatives bringing their ideas to the marketplace. To this end, this year she launched Big Hearted Business - a platform to teach creative people about business and business people about creativity - the success of which has astounded her.
